Trevor Dunlop, the founder of MindDev, came from impoverished beginnings with limited opportunities available to him. He decided on disciplining his mind and thoughts at the age of thirteen (13) years old, to create his future. His accomplishments were significantly beyond his dreams. Some include high degree of education, professional designations, great home, assets, family, provided a great life for his mother and more.
Origin
I, Trevor Dunlop was the second of three (3) boys growing in an unconventional family. Though both my parents worked, there were many periods when we had nothing to eat.
At the age of 13, I set goals and had faith, to achieve my dreams. I therefore decided on owning a property, having a car and a good job by the age of 30 years old. Giving my mother a better life was also my desire. Among many things, one thing I remembered learning was that ‘even a stupid person has a story.’ From this, it was clear that a wise person would learn something from everyone and everything. That is, “an open mind on all subjects towards all people”.
Desires
Though I experienced countless major struggles and defeats, all my goals were achieved. At age 22, one company in the space industry selected me from after hearing about me at the college. I purchased my first car because of this job, and at the age of 25, purchased my first property. By the age of 30, my job and professional achievements, were very much beyond my desired goals. I also owned a much better property and a truly desired car; a Mk 3 Golf GTi. At age 36, I was able to provide a great life for my mother. These were the beginning of my major achievements, which have significantly exceeded my wildest imagination.
Our Aim
In creating new desires to achieve true riches, I started using mind development material. This first enable identification of areas where each success principle were used during the drive to achieve my desires. Identification of causes of defeats and failures experienced along the way were also uncovered.
In MindDev system, we aim to have these success principles reconditioned in your mind and used by default, like people with wealthy mindset. We aim for this to help you to achieve true riches within a comparatively much shorter time.
Our desire is to make a positive impact to the lives of at least 150 million people in the world. That is, just under 2% of the world’s population. Though our children are happy, our desire is for them to achieve true success themselves and continue making positive impacts on the lives of others. Our new dreams have increased and added other things such as orphanage(s) to give homeless children real opportunities of peace and happiness. Opportunities to dream and achieve those dreams.
